The mission of UrbanPromise Los Angeles is to provide the children and youth of Los Angeles with the holistic support they need to become servant leaders determined to restore their communities.
By providing after school and summer camp programs to children in low-income neighborhoods and employing local teens as the program leaders, we empower youth to become the next generation of leaders in their communities through access to higher education and hands-on leadership development.
Our ultimate hope is to enact the Cycle of Restoration - reach a child. raise a leader. restore community - in LA’s most vulnerable neighborhoods.

Summer Camp
Our 6-week camp accelerates learning in Reading, Writing, & STEM while focusing on FUN in Bible, sports leagues, and enrichment classes. Plus, weekly Field Trip Fridays! 🎉
After-School
AfterSchool offers weekly homework help, Bible classes, arts & crafts, and recreational activities to Canoga Park students in grades K-7, led by our high school StreetLeaders!
UPLA's StreetLeader program trains local teens to lead while providing the academic, spiritual, emotional and college support they need to become leaders equipped to restore their own community!
