high-quality access to afterschool programing
UPLA provides elementary students with homework help, targeted reading & literacy support, Bible classes, enrichment classes and recreational activities all planned and led by our high school StreetLeaders with adult staff oversight.
Students get the opportunity to be mentored by caring teenagers, explore the arts, get the academic support they need and nurture their faith daily all while local teens grow in their leadership as StreetLeaders.

We currently serve elementary students in grades K-7 in the Canoga Park area
Students may arrive at our program site at 1:45 PM on Tuesdays and can be picked up between 5:30 - 5:45 PM.
Students interested in our enrichment classes still need to register using the link below
Transportation from school to UPLA’s program site is available in limited capacity for students at our partner schools: Canoga Park Elementary & NEW Academy (contact dionte@urbanpromiselosangeles.org for availability)
