UrbanPromise Los Angeles is on a mission to combat the Summer Learning Slide that often plagues low-income neighborhoods like Canoga Park.

Our 6-week summer camp is a beacon of hope, offering a safe and exciting environment that ensures all children have access to the summer enrichment opportunities they deserve. We offer summer camp free of charge to as many families as we can through the generous support and sponsorships of our community, individuals, business & church partners.

UrbanPromise’s Camp Rise 2024 will host K-7th grade students at our Canoga Park day camp for 6 weeks of all day fun!

Our StreetLeaders, interns and staff lead daily camp songs, team-building games, STEAM activities, creative writing & reading activities, Bible classes arts and crafts and sports!

Each week ends with Field Trip Fridays, where students try new activities like bowling, mini golf, and visiting exciting places like the LA Zoo and Discovery Cube LA.
