UrbanPromise Los Angeles surrounds children in Canoga Park with opportunity, mentorship, academic support and faith, while developing local teens into servant leaders who invest back into the community that raised them. We call it the Cycle of Restoration - reach a child, raise a leader, restore community.

Rooted in asset-based community development, we invest in children today, develop leaders for tomorrow, and empower those leaders to strengthen their communities for years to come.
OUR PROGRAMS

Summer Camp
Five weeks of joyful summer learning for children in Canoga Park. Campers strengthen their reading skills, explore STEM and the Bible daily, build friendships, and discover new interests through hands-on enrichment and weekly field trips.

AfterSchool Program
Our AfterSchool offerings increase educational access through daily homework help, math & reading tutoring, Bible activities, enrichment classes and sports. Serving Canoga Park students in grades K-8, led by our high school StreetLeaders.

StreetLeader Program
UrbanPromise LA’s StreetLeader program trains and empowers local high schoolers to lead our afterschool & summer programs while providing them holistic support as they chase their dreams - academic, financial, spiritual, emotional and college access.
